Other wood destroying organisms except fungus and termites are powder post beetles, carpenter ants, and carpenter bees. Detection and control of these types of wood destroying organisms is similar to that of drywood termites. All of them may be exterminated by most methods used for drywood termite extermination and control. However, correct identification and correct and specific dosage and methods are important for successful results.
