Drywood Termite Infestation Predictor for Southern California - Greater Los Angeles area
Step 1 of 4
Termites cause $5 billion damage in the USA- more than tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, or fires combined. This concerns to Southern California in much more extent where despite the existence of so many termite companies houses are literally falling apart because of termite and fungus damage, including the newer ones especially those located in coastal areas. Click here to see photos of some damage we took from houses inspected only on November 2009. This list is being updated regularly
The major reason is that unlike when our cars have problems we usually know because it shows. However, this is not the case with houses. Most people do not suspect that their attics and sub areas are flooded by drywood termites, their exterior and interior walls are heavily infested by drywood termites with many studs or beams being eaten away. However, if they do not see termites, they can use Termite Infestation Predictor to know about it. Some, about 10-15% of people notice themselves swarming termites or termite damage on wood flooring if there is any or on rafter tails, fascia boards or when houses get checked during buying or selling it. Also, sometimes drywood termites drill trough drywall where their droppings similar to sawdust can be seen. However, most of the time, about 85-90% of cases people cannot see them, or do not know about them due to whole host of reasons, especially when they are not professional termite inspectors. When we contact homeowners and offer them free inspection if their homes qualify virtually always we find major problems without them knowing about it.
This is why Prime Termite has developed an exclusive Termite Infestation Predictor (patent pending) system for Southern California - Greater Los Angeles area where home or other property owners can spend only about 5-10 minutes after which they will know with a very high degree of accuracy- 95-98%- the state of their homes regarding drywood termites. At the end there is also an important information about subterranean termites and fungus which makes our system even more comprehensive.
